The newly elected officers of the Filipino Community of Costa Rica (FilComCRC) formally took their oath of office on May 30, 2026, during a solemn ceremony held at the Philippine Consular Office in Escazú, Costa Rica. The oath-taking was officiated by Consul General Miriam Miranda, who administered the oath and extended her congratulations to the incoming leadership.
The ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter for FilComCRC as its newly elected officers committed themselves to serving and strengthening the Filipino community throughout Costa Rica.
In her remarks, Consul General Miriam Miranda emphasized the importance of community leadership, volunteerism, and unity among overseas Filipinos. The newly inducted officers pledged to uphold the organization's mission of promoting Filipino culture, fostering community engagement, and supporting the welfare of Filipinos in Costa Rica.
The oath-taking ceremony symbolizes the officers' commitment to lead with integrity, dedication, and service as they begin their term and work toward advancing FilComCRC's programs and initiatives for the Filipino community.
